Unfortunately,
life in this on-line world sometimes changes faster than I am able to keep track of. As such, many of the sites I have worked on or with over the years have disappeared, and others are hidden behind corporate firewalls. So rather than link to the original site (where things happen without my knowing about it) I have recreated a little bit of some of them here, on this server. Each of the links below demonstrates just one aspect of the dozens of sites I've had a hand in over the years. |
Corral West
Unfortunately the Corral West bankruptcy has eliminated this site and this link. Yet I include it here because the cool aspect of this site was never what you could readily see anyway. It was built to integrate with an existing fullfillment system that created the product display dynamically. If the product was in the database, and therefore showing on the page, it was also in the warehouse ready to ship. (With no legacy fullfillment system it's something I do not have the ability to recreate on this server.) However, thanks to the magic of the WAYBACK MACHINE we can still get a sense of what it looked like HERE.
NuStone Concepts The NuStone site was built to be a simplified online version of their brochure. A Frames Example A page to demonstrate that I do know how to work with Frames when they're appropriate. Agilent
Recruiting The Agilent site was really a hyper-linked book, some 75 pages, as I recall. The pages of this site linked to documentation world wide, mostly within the company's HR departments. (I've recreated just a couple of the pages here, as the site is proprietary and behind a firewall.) We used the metaphor of "many hats" to signify many different job categories, and put figures on the pages representational of each of those categories. MMD Homepage for Mountaintop Media Design. Unfortunately, yet another business that is no longer. (Note: This site was heavy on the use of CSS.) Hewlett-Packard
Public Relations Hewlett-Packard asked me to modify an image mapped page to suit the local environment, thereby retaining the corporate look and feel while having their own buttons and references. This meant reworking the image, as well as the coordinates of the various buttons mapped on it. (Note - I've recreated the image on the Computer Graphics page, but not the map - another proprietary site behind a firewall.) Mystery and Magic Mystery and Magic is an online fantasy world, in which "players" run characters and write an cooperative storyline together. For a time I was the "guildmaster" in this game, and created a few pages for various guilds. This example is the Assassin's Guild page. To learn more about Mystery and Magic - Click Here . CTHart.com I would surely be remiss if I failed to point out that this whole site is a good example of the work I've done on the web, as well as a portfolio of work I've done offline. |
